How do socioeconomic factors impact on the effectiveness of the malaria control strategies in the endemic regions? A literature review

Aims:

To explore socio-economic backgrounds, attitudes and practices related with malaria transmission in endemic area.

To assess the influence of the socio-economic status, and knowledge, awareness and education on malaria occurrence.

To explore key measures that could be undertaken to improve the socioeconomic status for controlling the transmission of malaria.

To investigate the socioeconomic factors, attitudes and practices in the prevention of vector borne diseases like malaria.

To collate and analyse socio-economic factors for malaria transmission in endemic area and to discuss their implications for control.
