Assignemnt-1 (second submission) – Case Study: ‘Wal-Mart international expansion’ in Chapter 8- pp 241-242 in the prescribed text book (Harrison, A. (2014). Business Environment in a Global Context (2^nd Edition). Oxford: Oxford University Press).)

This is question and answer type assignment not an essay type task. You are required to analytically response to the following four questions separately.

Important instructions:

• Critically analyse the case study and response to the given questions.
• Word limit of this case analysis: 1000 (min)-1100 (maxi) words excluding title page, list of references and annexures.
• Individual tasks and require individual effort but interaction with others is strongly encouraged using the Discussion Board.
• At least 6 scholarly journal articles are required to read and use them appropriately.   In-text references and the list of references are required in APA referencing style.

ASSESSMENT TASK 1: CRITERIA (10%)

•  Case study is accompanied by a series of questions, as mentioned above. Your submissions must relate to those questions.
•  You must make reference to the concepts and theories that are introduced in the textbook and class sessions (4%)
•  You must acknowledge the work of others and hence, in cite referencing and a reference list are mandatory and marks will be awarded for your efforts in adopting a recognisable referencing system, e.g. APA (2%)
•  You must provide a critical response to the questions and therefore, show critical thinking in your responses. This will be determined in the content, depth and quality of your responses (4%).
