Explain the reasoning behind each strategy using Carroll’s model, saying whether it is Philanthropic, Ethical, Legal or Economic. Research what the company says it will do for CSR and comment on whether these promises are being translated into results.

Part B: ‘Identify the major drivers of Zara’s CSR initiatives and comment on the importance of these drivers’ – Talk about the drivers of each of the CSR initiatives of Zara that were discussed in Part A. These drivers include: legislation, economic benefits, stakeholders, societal changes, customer-driven, competition and technological advancements.

Part C: ‘Based on your answers to A & B, recommend appropriate CSR strategies to be adopted by Zara, giving reasons for your recommendation. Please explain your answer.’ – Where, (in Part A and Part B) Zara has not met the Philanthropic, Ethical, Legal and Economic needs of its stakeholders, make CSR strategy recommendations for Zara for the future.
