Order Description

Pretend the class is in charge of creating a “Serial and Mass Killing Policy Recommendations” book. What are some concrete and realistic policies we should recommend? Be sure to offer at least a mention of where we would find proof to back up our suggestions (for example, saying “the UCR provides statistics on numbers of homicides” is sufficient). Recommendations can be for prevention or treatment.

Are there any aspects of these types of crimes that are just beyond the scope of recommendations? Is there anything that we will just never understand and never be able to prevent or treat? Why/why not?
