Theory (Radical).

Read passage and provide feedback about how radical theorist feel about the policy of unemployment. Give feedback on what socialist say about the policies on unemployment. Here is the passage:
“The assumptions of unemployment fit well with radical theory. “The Socialist Party USA strives to establish a radical democracy that places people’s lives under their own control — a non-racist, classless, feminist, socialist society in which people cooperate at work, at home, and in the community” (Socialist Party, 2015). The radical theory believes that people should have the opportunity to have full employment. This is obtained through government intervention.

The Socialist Party and radical economists take the radical approach in supporting full employment. “In socialism, full employment is realized for everyone who wants to work” (Socialist Party, 2015). The socialist and radical economists support government intervention. The unemployment laws force the employer to purchase unemployment insurance to help support their ex employees with income until a new job can be found. Some of the ways the government offers assistance is “ extending unemployment benefits and increasing funds to programs such as food stamps and providing jobs through spending programs” (Magdoff,Yates,2009). Government unemployment offices offer the unemployed help in finding new employment.”
