Requirements for the Analytical Report

As the capstone project for this course, you are required to research and write a formal analysis on an approved topic related to your major. Your analytical report, which constitutes 30 percent of your final grade, should include the following:

?    title page
?    letter of transmittal
?    detailed table of contents
?    list of tables and figures
?    audience scenario
?    report abstract
?    report text – minimum of 2,000 words (introduction, body, conclusion)
?    at least two visuals, numbered, titled, and documented and one of them should be original
?    glossary (if appropriate)
?    appendices (interview text and/or survey instrument)
?    list of references in APA-style format
o    a minimum of five secondary sources limited to scholarly and/or professional sources,
e.g., journals and/or .edu, .gov, .org, .net  websites
o    at least one primary source (interview, survey, or uninterpreted published data)
