Purpose of the Study
The purpose of this qualitative study was to examine the experiences of teachers who have experienced burnout. This study also explored factors that not only contributed to teacher burnout, but also the loss of motivation and enthusiasm. Further, teachers’ teaching climate, years of experience, and school environment were also explored to reveal to determine whether those factors contribute to teacher burnout and frustration level (Bindhu & Sudheeshkumar, 2006).

For the new study the population would be 10th and 11th grade public school students who live in Jackson Georgia.

Who: 10th and 11th grade public students who have been released from the Alternative Program and 10th and 11th grade students still in the Alternative Program.

Where: state of Georgia

How (criteria): Pass and present 10th and 11th grade Alternative students enrollment in the High school. The criteria to be placed in this program is a list of behavior issue I can get from the administration

How many: 10 students total

I would still have a treatment and control group. My treatment group would be the Alternative Students using the computer based program. My Control group would be the students in the High school setting.

My variables would be:

Dependent: Student standardized test scores

Independent: Computerized Programming and Teacher Instruction

I could do a mix study that could include t-test to compare the mean. This study could have a focus group consisting of both students in the program and released from the program last year. Again the study would be primerly qualitative. I could survey both groups. The end result would compare the standardized test scores from both groups.
