Systems Purpose

Compare and contrast the positions of a conservative ideology and that of a Liberal ideology. What is the basic position of the conservative on the role of government in the market place? Similarly, what is the position of the liberal on the role of government in the market place? When choosing a social problem (your choice) indicate where these two competing ideological positions would be on the issue that you choose. (Be sure to give examples in support of your response here). You are encouraged to use supporting documents and authors to support each position of your response. On a seperate chart, classify these authors according to the ideological philosphies discussed in class (At least two supporting authors must be utilized for both positions)
