Order Description
For this assignment you will submit two brief summaries of the two chapters you choose to review. The summaries should be around 500 words or less. Brief and efficient are key ideas here. You do not necessarily have to absorb the chapters in their entirety. Your summaries should identify the person responsible for the theory, a brief overview of the theory and how it can be applied to improve communication, and a quick review of the basic elements of the theory. The goal in writing these summaries is to eventually share them with your small group mates so you can all see what common material you are working with.

Choose two of the following chapters (use the scale at the beginning of each chapter, and what you have learned about your own preference for objective or interpretive theory, to decide which chapters to read):
