To complete the research essay, you will need to go to the Ohlone home page and click on the Ohlone Library. Then, once you are in, click on “Find Articles” in the middle of the page. Then, click on “Opposing Viewpoints in Context.” The you will need to log into the Library Databases by providing your Ohlone I D (0412384) and your last name(Ding). Then you will see a number of general topic areas. Click on “View All” next to an area that interests you. Then on the next page, you will see a long list of specific topics. Select one and click on it. Then, you will see a number of articles written on that specific topic. Find two articles with opposing viewpoints – one in which the author is for the issue and one in which the author is against the issue. Now, just read the two articles and write a typed, three-paragraph essay – one paragraph for each article in which you summarize the main points of the article. Then, your third paragraph will be your opinion – which article do you agree with and why. Please let me know if you have any questions.
