Reflective Essay

In Week 1 of this course you set goals for your learning. Reflect on those goals and consider the following related to your learning in this course:

What specific skills and knowledge have you gained to help you achieve your goals?
How will you continue and expand upon the work that you began with your learning team? How has your collaboration with the team contributed to your learning? In what specific ways has your team’s feedback helped you to develop professionally?
What challenges did you encounter in recruiting members for your learning team, communicating and collaborating with team members, and receiving their feedback?
How will your experiences in this course, including the challenges and benefits of working with a learning team, help you to foster collaborative professional learning at your school?
Next, review the “Backmapping Model for Planning Results-Based Professional Learning” in Chapter 9 of your Becoming a Learning School course text. In subsequent courses in this program, you will use this recursive model to plan, implement, and evaluate professional learning.
