o what extent does dealing with e-Waste offer a new basis for economic growth?

can electronic waste itself be seen as an ‘opportunity’, as an area of growth in the positive sense? Or is it a false ‘opportunity’, a source of a new ‘morality of waste’ which would simply turn waste itself into a moral ‘good’: “we should waste even more electronics so that the waste recycling industry can survive”?
