Modular Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this module, the student will be able to satisfy the following outcomes:
•    Case
o    Describe how all departments work together to prepare and meet these standards, using the vehicle of a mock survey.
o    Explain how the standards are implemented and presented in practicum.
o    Examine how all departments work together to transform their methods and practices to prepare and meet these standards.
•    SLP
o    Describe Structures with Functions, and to which departments/personnel are they relevant.
o    Describe how all departments work together to prepare and meet these standards, using the vehicle of a mock survey.
•    Discussion
o    Gain Insights and experience in the benefits of conducting a “mock survey.”
Module Overview
What are Structures with Functions?
Section III – Structures with Functions, contain and deal with the overall functions that ‘cross over’ all hospital areas and departments.
They are divided into 2 chapters:
1.    Medical Staff (MS)
2.    Nursing (NR)
In this Module we focus on Nursing.
