You are to develop a recruitment, selection and induction process for new recruits into your organization/department. Document your process so that it covers the points below. Be sure to:
•    Analyse strategic and operational plans and policies to identify relevant policies and objectives
•    Develop recruitment, selection and induction policies and processes, and supporting documents
•    Utilize appropriate technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment/selection process
•    Obtain support for your policies and procedures from your assessor
•    Trial and measure against your objectives all forms, procedures and induction processes (making all necessary changes)

To complete this task, you will need to consider a business or industry. The company you need to use is Nucor Corporation in South Australia.

Part 2
Once recruitment policies/processes have been developed as required in Part 1, you are to implement your recruitment process to select staff for employment into your organization.
For this task you are required to:
•    Explain your reasoning for creating this vacancy (This part has been done, but you will need to, see below part A, make sure the ideas you use for the reasoning focus on these aspects as well but do not copy anything as I will be using that for another part of the assignment)
•    Develop job advertisements for at least 2 media streams (see below part B, I have already worked on one advertisement for job seeking websites, you need to develop a second one for another media stream. You can use the same information I have already provided)
•    Detail the cost involved with lodging both job advertisements (make sure you detail cost for the ad I have designed and the one you will be designing as well, but be sure to keep it simple and affordable)

1.    Describe how you would oversee the management of probational employees.

3.    Provide 2 reasons why candidates might not want you to conduct a reference check?
4.    How might you encourage a candidate to allow you to reference check?
