Leadership

Choose a topic in the area of Ethics and Leadership (note the “and” is not an “or”), preferably Ethics and Leadership in the public service. Research your topic thoroughly (internet citations as your only references will not be accepted). Write a scholarly essay on this topic that includes a thesis, arguments to support your thesis, references to the literature in your topic area and references to current “real-world” events. This is not an opportunity to soapbox or to bully pulpit around your favorite issue, but rather an intellectual perspective on important topics related to ethics and leadership. For those who struggle with the idea of a topic, a list of leadership issues is contained in paragraph C.

All papers will be written according to the formatting styles prescribed by the American Psychological Manual of the American Psychological Association. More detailed related information is available under ‘APA Documentation’

All specifications of the paper should conform to the guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th Ed.), unless other specifications are outlined here.

•The font size and type should remain consistent throughout the paper. Recommended fonts include Times Roman, or Arial 12 points.
•Margins: The left side of the page requires a 38 mm (1 1/2 margin with 25 mm (1 inch) on the remaining sides. Do not use justified margin alignments.
•Pagination: Pages will be numbered
•Line Spacing: The project must be double-spaced.
•Paper length: 8-10 pages
•Please, PLEASE use a thesis statement that will tell me what you are going to discuss/explore
