Latin American Views on USA elections

Based on: The research project for this course focuses on the views and reactions of leaders and public opinion from other regions of the world to the US presidential election process and issues. You will be required to monitor speeches, press releases, public and social media, blogs, etc. originating in other countries throughout the semester. You also are expected to include information from your Debate volunteer experience and/or the videoconference with African students. This information, in conjunction with required course material and scholarly sources, will provide the foundation for your critical analysis of international views on three of the four core concepts of this course -power, justice, freedom and equality – as they are exhibited by the US electoral process.
