Financial Derivatives and Their Role in Financial Crises

The use of financial derivatives in economy was mainly meant to help  overcome some difficulties , such as reducing risks.  Somehow those derivatives  became an object of manipulation and contributed housing crisis in the USA and other financial monetary , and currency  crises around the globe. This paper aims to investigate the role of such financial derivatives in banking and financial systems, its going to trace the origins of them being misused and some recommendations and research of how to avoid harmful speculation in the future.
