Order Description

The topic is any area of fashion in the 20th Century you are interested in. You must draw conclusions and/or show how your topic relates to our lectures. Eg. How it was influenced by or influences social events, technology, etc.

Ideas might include: Evaluating a current or past designer and the contribution of their work; the development of the zipper and the influence on fashion of the 20th century; the changing silhouette of women’s lingerie in the 20th century; War regulations and their influence on American fashion; Influences on women’s shoes during the 20th century.

The paper should be 2-3 pages, double spaced with 1 inch margins. Bibliography must be included. Images may be attached but not part of the page count.
