Explain whether Jake’s actions are
in or out of “his scope of employment.”

Herman, the car dealer’s owner, was
running a free oil change promotion in order to seek more
business.   Jake, the dealer’s service
manager, provided a basic inspection of the vehicles along with the oil change;
although, the promotion was only for a free oil change and not for an
inspection.
