Discuss implementation issues, including economic, policy, and/or regulatory issues in your state and the future of the law in your state.

I. Analysis
Ensure each content area below is addressed.
A. Historical Context: What is/was going on in the U.S. that makes this section an important aspect of the law? Were their cultural reasons for the section of legislation? What kind of organized political support is/or has been mounted for this section of the law?
B. Objectives of the Policy: What are the objectives of this section of the legislation? Discuss the objectives; were they a result of compromise? Is the policy too idealistic or were objectives realistic? How will the objectives influence your practice of integrated health care (through a clinical, management, or combined perspective)?
C. Theory (ies) and/or Empirical Data: What theories and/or empirical data support this section of the law? For example, if you chose the section of the law requiring all people to purchase insurance and/or pay a penalty, what is the economic evidence based for that section? Identify any behavioral economics principles in play related to this section.
D. Resources Available: Within an integrated care setting, what resources will you need to implement this section of the law? For example: will you need adequately trained personnel available to implement the section? Technology to carry out the policy? Was the time allocated for implementing to allow planning and putting programs into place? What will an integrated healthcare site need to do to implement this section of the law? Have the economic and service delivery aspects of the ACA been implemented and how effective has it been? Address the future of this section’s application in your state related to integrated healthcare. Students may concentrate on management, clinical, or a combination perspective.
