Define the discipline of psychology?

Prepare a 700 tword paper in which you analyze the diverse nature of psychology as a discipline. As a part of your analysis, be sure to address the following items:
o Define the discipline of psychology.
o Describe at least three different sub disciplines within the discipline of psychology using your own words, not a direct quote.
An example of a sub discipline would be human factors or developmental psychology.
o Evaluate the impact of diversity on the discipline of psychology.
More specifically, how is the discipline of psychology impacted as a whole, as a result of having many subdisciplines with diverse areas of knowledge, inquiry, and roles.
o Explain the practical applications of psychology to at least two different disciplines outside of psychology.
For example, you could explain how psychology could be used in education to help elementary school teachers keep children on task. Or, you could explain how psychology could be applied in marketing to improve a person s perception of a product?
