To tie into to what you covered in the chapter and discussed this week in your forum, I decided to further expand on this topic. After viewing the video in the Supply Chain Management Discussion and Video, I would like you to choose a product or service of interest and follow it through from beginning to end. I do expect you to research this project not just butter came from the cow and went to the store (okay a little too extremely simple, but you get my point), but I would also like you to have some fun with this. Diagrams and charts are great but I would like detailed explanations and references, at least two pages double-spaced .

Just some factors to consider (but not all):

Why did you choose the product or service?

Was the supply chain process more or less involved than you anticipated?

After research all the variable and fixed costs involved in the supply chain process, does the final product cost seem reasonable or inflated?

Are there any processes along the way that could operate more efficiently or bea eliminated?

Any other recommendations for change?
