Instructions:
For this discussion, you get to be the art critic. Choose two works of art from your textbook. The first should be a work of art that you really like. The second should be a work of art that you really dislike. Write a paragraph for each piece describing why you love/hate it. Your response to each work need not be rooted in art terminology or a deep understand of the piece. We will further explore these works of art in more detail as the semester progresses but this initial discussion should be purely a description of your gut response to each piece.
Please be sure to include the work’s artist, title (should be italicized) and the page number where it can be found in the textbook. If possible, please upload an actual visual representation of the artwork (most images in the text can be found online in google image search OR you could take a photograph out of the book with your phone and upload it that way).
