Part B: Speaking test package
Design a test package that has a focus on speaking proficiency for an identified context and purpose. This must be your original work. The test must be presented as a test package ready to use by an independent teacher. It will minimally contain a title, table of contents and page numbers, details of the target group for the test, the test rationale, test specifications, test paper(s), guidelines for administration and scoring.
The test should measure speaking proficiency at either ACTFL Intermediate Level or CEFR Independent User B2, or the ISLPR Level 3+ Basic Vocational Proficiency.
You should develop and include an assessment rubric in the guidelines that clearly allows the marker to describe the extent to which a candidate has achieved the stated level of proficiency and details of how the results may be used by teachers with students to improve their speaking.
