For Exam 2 you need to answer the question:

What events did World War I cause and what were the short and long term impacts of this war? Identify the causes of World War I and reasons for American entry; describe the contributions of the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) led by General John J. Pershing and analyze the impact of significant technological innovations in World I .

This is very important because if you do not understand the impacts of World War I, you will not understand the Great Depression, World War II and the Cold War. You also need to analyze major issues such as isolationism and neutrality raised by U.S. involvement in World War I, Wilson’s Fourteen Points and the Treaty of Versailles.
