What do you do as a manager?

As you have probably guessed I didn t know anything about closing or moving the DC and it turned out to be true. I watched the company VP, deny send out e mails, and even respond to reporters from the local newspaper in Waco who had found tax records were the company had purchased land (to build a new DC in the Dallas metroplex are NW of the Dallas airport) because he was afraid that the employees would all leave early and find other employment. It didn t take me long to realize this was not a boss I wanted to work for nor was it a company I wanted to be associated with, I left the company after 13 months and went to another company. Q: As a manager you have to make your numbers, your company is dependent upon you, your employees are dependent upon you, your suppliers are dependent upon you you find out that your company is closing down your facility and you have been told that you can not communicate the information to anyone or you will be terminated! What do you do as a manager?
