Come up with a thesis and write about how well Vietnamese immigrants ­ during and post Vietnam war­ did in America using actual Vietnamese immigrant experiences (like journals and diaries) as well as data from articles to back up those experiences as well as your thesis. There should be at least 8 primary sources. Also some things to think about while writing your thesis paper: “What was it about the Vietnamese culture that allowed them to flourish here, while other groups suffered economic exploitation, racism, and violence? Was it education? Why did they do so well, where others failed? THAT is what needs to be explained…that is a “problem” about which you can formulate a “thesis.”
