Vietnam

When it comes to Vietnam, how was the international perception of the United States in terms of wealth, fame, or power affected?  Why?  And what if anything do you believe we have learned and changed as a result of Vietnam?
It is clear that the youth and universities in particular were responsible for the anti Vietnam movement found in this nation.  Can you think of a similar movement today?  What aspects of the American Dream are affected by the lack of movement or involvement of youth in said movement?  Do you feel said movement would gain more momentum if young Americans were exposed more or less to the American Dream?
Finally, how is the nostalgia for the past and desire to progress the future different, or similar today when comparing your identified movement and the anti Vietnam movement?
