In James Weldon Johnson The Autobiography of an Ex-Colored Man (1912) and F. Scoot Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby discuss and analyze those individual and or incident that lead these two protagonist to assume their new identities.  This essay in proper MLA style must contain the proper element in the intro, body and conclusion.  Also you must quote from The Tragic Black Buck and six other non-fiction secondary sources (four can come from TTBB the other two must have been published after 2004).  Accordingly you must have a Works Cited page listing the two novels and the seven secondary sources.  This essay must be a full twelve pages not including the Works Cited page.  Essays are due the last day of class; no emali submissions will be accepted.
