hi there,

the title of this report is: a report to evaluate a cross-curricular resource

The pictures are the resource that i used in a geography lesson.

I have attached a geography lesson plan which has the objective, outcome, input, activity and plenary. this is a lesson that I carried out in a primary school, (year 2) children aged 6/7 years.

i have to evaluate how the lesson went and explain the reousrce and offer a rationale for its creation. (This was a creative hands on activity for children to learn geography and location) by starting of in the surrounding they know. i.e. the playground. The pictures are: the fountain, Friendship stop, garden, notice board, stump (with hand print), Log, rope equipment, chess board, gate and garden area. children use the sheet with pictures on to locate for example the children locate the water fountain, a picture card of the water fountain will be attached beside it. the children turn the card over and there is a letter on the back of card. they write this letter on their work sheet. once they have located all pictures they have to unscramble the word, which spell ‘p l a y g r o u n d’
