How do we  enter China market? Implementation stage. We would discuss:
how to ensure globalization strategy success by using effective IHRM practices/strategy.

We are going to use integrative HRM framework. Mainly discuss from two perspectives, external and internal. (ONLY DO EXTERNAL)
a) external: Set up China head office and open stores in Shanghai in the first year,
middle-term strategy would be open stores in other main China cities.

We are to adress:

? Life-styles suit for expatriate managers because there are many expats in Shanghai

? Apply to the theories or models about host country effect to IHRM practices

These two points could be used to discuss how to ensure expatriates assignment success. We would also discuss the cost of damage if expatriates failure.

? IR: there are not unit issues in China, and we could discuss HSE.
? Drill details (minimal wage, work hours, workforce quality, others), and then discuss the relationship between these details and HR practices.

? Many MNCs� have operations in Shanghai, and beauty product industry is very developed. This means there are large of qualify candidates in Shanghai.

Then, discuss some impaction from home country or the different between Australia and China.
