Sports and Exercise Science (Physiology)

‘Write a laboratory report in the style of a case report. This report must not contain more than 1000 words (including title, main text, figure/table captions, but excluding references). Your report should be modelled on the structure of a scientific paper, e.g.Journal of Applied Physiology, European Journal of Applied Physiology, Journal of Sports Sciences. Use the data you have collected in laboratory session 3 (graded exercise test to exhaustion: V̇ O2 data, heart rate data, blood lactate data, etc.). You can use data from another group or example data if your data are problematic. Give a brief introduction, describe the experimental set-up, plot the most important results, and discuss the results in light of exercise prescription and assessment of physical capacity. Your statements should be supported by scientific literature.’
