Q. Compare two leadership theories and discuss their strengths and limitations for social work.
select the theories of Transactional leadership theory & Transformational leadership theory, Or else you can select from theories like Trait Leadership Theory, Behavioural Leadership Theory, Value Based Theory or Situational Leadership Theories (Which is convenient for you but only two). Following are the criteria that need to be addressed in the essay. It is a 2250 words assignment not including the reference list. 20 References required.
This assignment will use a marking rubric to assess the following criteria:

– Justification of the importance of the topic for social work organisations.

– Knowledge and understanding of leadership theories and how they relate to social work.

– Clear interpretation and critical analysis of the material, themes and perspectives from the literature on leadership.

– Evidence of a well articulated and integrated development of ideas and argument to address the essay question.

– Evidence of clear organisation of material and writing style, and appropriate, accurate and adequate referencing, according to Harvard style.

Note: You can use peer reviewed journals or texts but need to use Harvard Referencing. It is a requirement that you need to provide the page numbers in the in text reference. 20 References is a must.
