Part 1
Compare the practical application of hardware vs software audio plug-in processing technologies, as used in current music production and audio mixing practice. You may select as your focus a wide range of processing types (such as EQ, compression, reverberation etc.) or a narrower subset of your choosing. You must submit a 1975-word report detailing your research and conclusion, alongside practical audio examples demonstrating the approach taken.
Part 2
Write a 500-word report on how the visual aspects of audio plug-in design may aid their application and use in a live or studio-based
recording/mixing scenario.

The assignment needs to cover the following elements:

-Contemporary audio plugin technologies across a range of hardware and software platforms
-Techniques related to real-time video/audio integrated signal processing technologies suited to live performance and installation systems

-Evaluate, for different applications, the suitability of contemporary audio plugin technologies across hardware and software platforms select and apply basic techniques of real-time video/audio integration suited to live performance or installation systems

-Use of additional material such as diagrams, photos or illustrations
-Quality of audio/video elements
