Ebola Scenario

The 2014 outbreak of Ebola in several West African was the largest epidemic of this deadly contagious disease the world has ever known. The disease killed thousands, and for the first time in history, cases of Ebola occurred on U.S. soil. While risk of an Ebola outbreak in the United States is very low, the CDC and its partners have taken precautions to prevent this from happening. For the purposes of this assignment, you will consider this hypothetical scenario:

Four days prior, a 39-year-old male, traveling alone, arrived from a country that was experiencing an Ebola outbreak. Three days after his arrival, he went to a hospital EMC. Upon examination, he was found to be presented symptoms of Ebola. He was immediately put into isolation.

When questioned, the patient disclosed that he had close contact with his sister and wife since his return. His sister works at a local grocery store and his wife is a cook at a local restaurant. None of his contacts are symptomatic.
