Although these procedures are beyond the limits of APA’s ethical guidelines today, we have learned a great deal from these experiments. Discuss the research presented in each of the videos. Be sure to address the following questions:

•What positive pieces of information came from these studies?

•What do these studies tell us about human relationships and power?

•If you were a part of either of these experiments, how do you believe you would respond?  Would you be a better guard or prisoner?  Would you be able to administer the electrical shock?
