You are expected to reflect on your own learning and provide in-depth analysis of the chosen topic. The key assessment criteria for your group project are the course learning outcomes. This means that you need to reflect on your learning in your group project with regard to each of the learning outcomes. A reflection on your own learning from the course, embedding it into the report, and ability to link it with the course learning outcomes constitute a key element of your assignment evaluation and marking.

Gain fundamental knowledge about business excellence models and learn about the principles and practices underpinning
business excellence

G 3: Enable learners to design an effective excellence strategy for improving organizational performance.
COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to:

O 1: Evaluate business excellence frameworks for specific organizational settings
Conduct a systematic self-assessment exercise by using the criterion suggested by the EFQM Excellence Model, Deming
Prize, Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA), and the RADAR logic
O 2:
O 3: Apply the latest version of EFQM Excellence Model and other quality frameworks in various organizations
O 4: Implement and examine a holistic excellence strategy for improving organizational performance.
The structure of your report should be as follows:
? Cover page (logo of the university, title and code of the course, title of your report, your name, student number, date of submission, word count
? Content page
? Introduction (which includes the significance of your topic and why it is important to be studied)
? Key research questions, objectives and aims of your report
? Literature review (definition and theoretical aspects of the topic of your group assignment)
? Methodology (explain how you have collected your data and discuss a brief profile of the organization that you have chosen for your project)
? Data analysis (provide empirical evidence linked to your topic from a local organization or international company operations in the UAE. Here you are expected to answer your key research questions and achieve the intended aims/objectives of your project).
? Discussion and Conclusions (you are expected to reflect on the key findings and more importantly your own learning from the group project and provide evidence that you have achieved the learning outcomes of the course)
? Recommendations (provide some suggestions to the management of the organization to improve the organizational efficiency and effectiveness), and
? References (cite your references both in the main text and in the list of references – in accordance with the Harvard Referencing System).
