Obama administration policy in cuba mexico and Venezuela

Areas are Cuba, Mexico, and Venezuela.
In your paper, briefly describe and critically evaluate current Obama administration
policy (military, economic, and/or diplomatic) towards your region. Indicate which elements of
current policy require continuation, amplification, or elimination. Next, discuss the specific
foreign policy initiatives that you believe the U.S. should follow in your region- in both the near
(1-5 years) and long (10-15 years) terms. Finally, consider the chances for success/failure of
your proposed initiatives.
The paper should be 10-12 pages- typed, double-spaced, standard 10 or 12 pt. font, with a
complete bibliography. Sources may include books, journal articles, newspaper articles, and
websites (all web sources must come from a credible/established site and must be fully
cited). The McCormick text and the Ambrose book should not be used as sources for this paper.
The paper is due Thursday, November 15. Late papers will be penalized one-half of a grade per
business day until the assignment is completed. Any student that submits a paper that includes
plagiarized material will receive a 0 for the assignment and may be subject to further sanctions.
