This discussion deals with a hypothetical situation, in which there was an infectious disease outbreak that wiped out the entire population of the world, except for 100 individuals who all are infected. Of the people left only 20% are female. Currently every single person in the class is infected with the disease and without an anecdote they will die. There are currently 20 vials of the anecdote in the market so 20 people can be saved. Those 20 vials are owned by three businesses and, therefore, no business has a monopoly.

1.You are now in charge of who gets the vaccination – you can let the free market choose or you can choose which individuals should get it.  Tell me which you would choose.

2.Next describe, in one to two paragraphs, which individuals you think should and shouldn’t be saved if had to choose. Tell me the process of why and how you picked the individuals.
