John Stuart Mill believes that people should prevent government interference in the following three cases: 1. A thing to be done is likely to be better done by individuals than by the government. 2. Though individuals may not do a thing as well as the government can, it should still be done by individuals. 3. Adding unnecessarily to the power of the government is a great evil. A.
