• Watch the film, Gattaca (available at Reference Desk in Library) and write about the core issue of the film. Referencing both Kant’s position and Act Utilitarianism, discuss what each viewpoint would recommend in the case of whether what Vincent did was morally permissible and why (I would recommend using Kant’s categorical imperative as well as the notion of utility).
