You are a consultant who has been engaged by a large privately owned corporation to review its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program.
The client is especially concerned that the program will meet future regulatory and shareholder needs. The corporation is planning to move from being privately owned to a publicly listed organisation. The company also has plans to relocate the majority of its workforce out of Australia into China and India.
The client is sceptical about how having a corporate social responsibility program will assist the company to meet its future objectives.
