How can interpersonal communication be used in an intervention to help the caregiver (nursing home or family) to communicate with the person with delirium and manage their situation

The study will be about:
(How can interpersonal communication be used in an intervention to help the caregiver (nursing home or family) to communicate with the person with delirium and manage their situation.).
My thought is the best way to communicate with people with delirium is by redirect them or distract them, which might help them to feel comfortable.
By applying Social Judgment Theory I want to explain how the caregiver can persuade the person with delirium to change their attitude during the delirium session.
The explanation in this paper should be from the interpersonal communication perspective
This study should include:
1- A rational for why this topic is important to study and why this theory is appropriate for its investigation.
2-The Social Judgment Theory as framework
3- A literature review of the problem and the theory
4. Hypotheses or research questions
5. If there is any scale to conduct this study.
6. 20 pages plus title page and references but not the scale pages.
7- At least 15 sources, 7 of which must have been published in the 5 years.
7. Double-spaced following the APA style guidelines (6th edition)
