Highlight what your government intends to do for the people in your term (as the mayor). In the budget summary, analyze what your government will do for the current year you are submitting a proposal for.

THIS IS THE ASSIGNMENT. I WILL SEND OVER ANOTHER PART OF THE LAY OUT OF THE CITY AND ALL THE WORKER AN EVERYTHING THAT I THINK THAT YOU WILL NEED THIS WILL BE MADE SIDLES AN POWERPOINT. Ok ladies this assignment is pretty big. We are each going to have to do 4 slides a piece and we are each going to have to write 350 words for the executive summary a piece. The powerpoint needs to include speaker notes on each slide. Generally speaking the speaker notes on each slide needs to be about 100 words. We need to make sure to include graphics and references as well. We need to include information about our agency, the citizens of the community, and the employees of the agency. So this is what we have for our breakdown for the executive summary and for the powerpoint.

TITLE(NORTH CITY PROPOSAL) This should start with the title of the city for which we are making the budget e.g.: city of Seattle, Birmingham City Council, Newcastle City Council or Manchester City Council. Type of Budget This should state what sort of budget proposal this is, whether it’s a master budget, static budget, cash flow budget, financial budget or preferably an OPERATING Budget e.g. proposed master budget for the year 2017 or City of Manchester proposed budget for the year 2018 It should then be stated that it is an annual budget for which fiscal year e.g. Annual budget City of Birmingham Fiscal year beginning 13th July 2017 List of City Council members In this case, we write members from this group. Starting with the mayor and then the other officials in ranks Table of contents This should have the following contents: i. The Introduction ii. The City’s goals and PLANS. iii. Budget Summary iv. Revenue summary v. Expenditure budget vi. The conclusion

The Actual Budget In the introduction, outline who you are & what you are presenting i.e. the budget for which fiscal year. A very brief and general view of your plan; the City’s financial position, the focus areas and the goals In the city goals and plans; go into details of the scheme i.e. the infrastructure you want to make and renovate in the long term of your government. Highlight what your government intends to do for the people in your term (as the mayor). In the budget summary, analyze what your government will do for the current year you are submitting a proposal for. What can be done for the year, what was done in the previous year and what it will do in the coming year? (Keep this as brief as possible) In the revenue section, indicate how much money you have a city council and the sources of the city’s FUNDS In the expenditure section, show what you will do with the money i.e. PAYING city workers and the projects to be undertaken North City: give the reader a feel for the city, let them know what is going on in the city to know how the budget will work and how it will affect the people. 1. Demographic: which will include population, age, gender, race 2. Households & Education: households, public education, college, 3. Police Department: response times, employees, positions 4.
