What are some of the factors that determine whether survey research scientists should use probability sampling designs as opposed to non probability sampling?
For each of probability and non probability sampling designs, provide an example of a research setting in which each of these two sampling designs could be used.
In each case, choose an appropriate sampling design and write a short account of the methods that is likely to be used to select sampling units.
