Review the Health Belief Model, Social Cognitive Theory, Theory of Planned Behavior, and other theories and models

Select one of the public health education programs you proposed in your Week 2 Discussion. Consider the intended population and the cultural context of the program you select.
• Review the Health Belief Model, Social Cognitive Theory, Theory of Planned Behavior, and other theories and models discussed in Chapter 4 of the Cottrell, Girvan, and McKenzie course text, and in Chapter 5 of the Doyle, Ward, and Oomen-Early course text.
• Determine the theory or model you would use to support this program and why. Evaluate the appropriateness of this theory or model for the culture(s), population(s), and health issues.
