A discussion of the philosophy and theory of selected methodological paradigms appropriate to a given research question (s) arising from practice with a research report on the application of selected research methodology(ies) to a small scale enquiry within a practice/professional setting.

 Use Arial or Times New Roman size 11 font
 Lines should be double spaced
 Insert page numbers
 Follow the APA referencing guide for quotations and citations
 Include an alphabetical reference list at the end of your work which follows APA
conventions entitled “References” (not Bibliography). Only include titles you have
referred to in your text.
 Label all diagrams and tables (e.g. Fig.1, Table 1)
 Include a title page with the following information:
– Title of your work
– Exact number of words
– Module number and title (please ensure this is the correct and full title of the
module)
– Your name (you are entitled to anonymous second marking, if this is your
preference please only include your student assessment number)
– Name of your module tutor
