Dido falls in love with Aeneas. Then she was abandoned by Aeneas and committed suicide. Who would be responsible for Dido Suicide? How sympathetic the reader is supposed to be toward Dido? How sympathetic the reader is supposed to be toward Aeneas? Should we blame Dido, Aeneas, love, stress, or who? Does Dido felt better in the after life? Aeneas and his encounters in the UnderworldAeneid? If similar situation happened nowadays, would it lead to a women (nowadays) committing suicide or she would look for Mr.right? …..
