Write a 700-word paper, describing your personal perception of organized crime upon entering this course. Identify any assumptions on which your perception is based, and answer the following questions: How would you describe or define organized crime? Discuss the genesis of your pre-conceived ideas about organized crime before entering this course, such as through movies, work or personal experiences, etc. How does your perception and definition of organized crime compare to the definitions in the readings?
