Order Description

the topic of cultural and linguistic diversity and crafting a 100 word paragraph. The 3 set chapters are from the Makin et al text book: Chapters 14, 16 & 17. Your task is to compose a 100 word paragraph on the topic of cultural and linguistic diversity for literacy teaching and learning. (The actual essay is on the intersection of cultural and linguistic diversity as it relates to critical literacy, but as yet, we haven’t done our workshops on critical literacy, so your formative assessment needs only relate to Chapters 14, 16 & 17). The paragraph must include at least one in text reference to one of the designated chapters PLUS a reference list that shows you know how to reference a chapter of an edited collection using the APA referencing style. Please do not read outside of these 3 chapters for this task. This is not an exercise in wide reading; it is an excise in responding to a set topic using a set writing style and set stimulus chapters.
